Civil War sesquicentennial Baltimore, in April 1861, was a divided city -- in a divided state in a divided nation. Civil War 150: The Baltimore Commemoration, April 15-17, is a collection of city-wide events and exhibitions that mark the 150-year anniversary of the start of that turbulent era. It includes Maryland's Civil War Trails Expo at the Inner Harbor on April 16. Other Civil War events around the state:
